WHAT TO EXPECT:
Once you complete this form, I will email you within one business day to set up a free 20-minute consultation phone call with you. During our call, I’ll ask about what is bringing you to therapy and what you are looking for in a therapist; I will also share about my therapy approach and the clients I tend to work with. You are welcome to ask me any questions during this call. I am happy to provide additional resources and referrals as well. Here are some questions that might help you determine if we are a good fit:
Have you worked with clients experiencing my similar concerns?
How would you approach working with me on the concerns I’m bringing to therapy?
What can I expect from our first session?
-
My session rate per 50-minute session for individual therapy is $185. I offer longer EMDR sessions based on your needs and therapy goals: $277 per 75-minute session and $333 per 90-minute session.
Making therapy accessible is important to me; I do offer a set number of sliding-scale spots. I am not paneled with insurance. However, you may be able to use out-of-network benefits to receive partial reimbursement for therapy sessions. I can offer you a superbill (invoice) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Check your out-of-network benefits here. Helpful questions to ask your insurance regarding out-of-network benefits:
-Do I have out-of-network benefits? If so, what are they?
-Do I have a deductible I need to meet first before I can be eligible for reimbursement?
-If you have a deductible: How much of my therapy cost ($185 per session) will you cover after I meet my deductible?
-How do I submit superbills to get reimbursed?
-
Typically, I recommend we start meeting on a weekly basis to build our relationship and gain some momentum to address your goals in therapy. Often, my clients begin to feel some relief after 1-2 months. Your therapy journey is unique to you and the needs and goals you have. My style is highly collaborative, and I invite feedback. My goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship that encourages you to express your needs and get the most from our sessions.
I’m happy to answer any additional questions you may have. Please reach out using the contact form above. I look forward to connecting with you!

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees, and psychotherapy.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
